With the backdrop of the unforeseen major impact that Covid-19 has had on 2020, our webinar looked at what is expected to influence agriculture, rural property and forestry in 2021.
Chaired by David Cross, Savills head of region across the south, presenters Fred Cook - farm agency, Stuart Nicholls – food and farming, and Mike Chapman – forestry, gave their thoughts on the changes in the way people live and work in the wake of the pandemic and the effect this is having on the rural property market across the South. They also discussed the Agriculture Act 2020 and the impact this is likely to have on prices and opportunities in a post-Brexit world, from forestry to carbon capture and biodiversity net gain.
