Webinar: What factors are influencing the future of our rural markets across the South West?

With the backdrop of the unforeseen major impact that Covid-19 has had on 2020, our webinar looked at what is expected to influence agriculture, rural property and forestry in 2021.

Chaired by Paul Cressy, Savills head of rural in the south west, presenters Penny Dart – farm agency, Adrian Matthews and Phil Goscomb – food and farming, and Peter Topham – forestry, gave their thoughts on the changes in the way people live and work in the wake of Covid-19 and the effect this is having on the rural property market across the South West. They also discussed the Agriculture Act 2020 and the impact this is likely to have on prices and opportunities in a post-Brexit world, from forestry to carbon capture and biodiversity net gain.
