Savills advises Maples Group on the relocation of its Luxembourg headquarters

Savills has advised the Maples Group on its relocation to new premises in Luxembourg. The Group has leased 45 200 sq ft in the Helios building in Cloche d’Or business district, located just minutes from motorways leading to the borders of France, Germany and Belgium. The new office space combines all of the Group's Luxembourg services under one roof and will support further growth in the region.   The Maples Group has been firmly established and prominent in Luxembourg since 2007, initially providing fund and fiduciary services and later adding legal services to its offering.

Johan Terblanche, Managing Partner of Maples and Calder (Luxembourg) SARL, the Maples Group's law firm in Luxembourg, said, "The Maples Group is proud to employ over 100 lawyers and professionals in Luxembourg and we are committed to growing our business here. As clients examine how best to maintain and enhance their European operations, we continue to experience an increasing demand for our local and global services here in Luxembourg, driving the need for additional space to grow our teams to service those clients efficiently. Partnering with Savills to find a suitable office location was an excellent decision. They understood our dynamic business needs from the outset and made the whole process seamless."

Jonathan Morand, Head of Office Agency, Savills Luxembourg, comments, “Vacancy levels in Luxembourg’s CBD are at record lows and Cloche d’Or is fast becoming a desirable hub for firms that are looking to expand into space with modern amenities and excellent transport links to the rest of Europe. The Helios building, with its new façade and state of the art fit out, matched out client’s requirements.”

Speaking to the Maples Group's offering in Luxembourg, Tom Davies, Regional Head of Maples Group's Fiduciary Services in Europe added, "Luxembourg and our European offices, which include Dublin, Jersey, London and The Netherlands, continue to be a strategic priority for the Maples Group and enable us to provide seamless, time sensitive services to our global client base. Having a full range of the Group's offerings based in the same location in Luxembourg will foster even better collaboration and enable us to continue to provide innovative solutions for our clients."
