Savills has appointed Ray Clement as Head of Hotels for Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore Ray will oversee and spearhead the expansion of Savills hotels advisory services across the region. Previously a director in the hotels team at CBRE, Ray has been in the hotels business for over 15 years and has transacted a number of large hotel sales in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Australia, and has worked with most of the prestigious hotel owners and operators.

Robert McKellar, Chief Executive Officer of Savills Asia Pacific, comments: “It has long been our wish to establish a presence in the hotel advisory market in Asia Pacific. The long-term attractions of the hotels market in Asia Pacific make the introduction of this business line a priority for Savills. The appointment of Ray will now enable us to offer an experienced and reputable hotel transaction service to new and existing clients in the region.”

Ray’s appointment will further strengthen Savills global hotel offer, which already comprises a 32-strong international team based throughout Europe and the USA.
