Savills recruits Head of Office Agency in Czech Republic

Savills is pleased to announce the appointment of Štěpán Smrčka as Head of Office Agency, based in the Prague office, with immediate effect.

Štěpán will head up the Office Agency team in the Czech and Slovak Republics and will be responsible for business development, international office clients and a full range of services provided to office landlords and developers.

Štěpán has almost six years’ experience in commercial real estate, most recently as Head of Sales at Passerinvest Group, Inc. where he focused on leasing and sales activities of BB CENTRUM in Prague and Nová Karolína in Ostrava, including responsibility for leasing/sales team, leasing terms negotiation with large and international clients, leasing agreement coordination, responsibility for preparation and moving in process as well as business development and proactive relationship activities towards tenants.
He was responsible for a number of notable transactions covering mostly corporate tenants including Hewlett-Packard – 21,000 sq m, Microsoft – 12,000 sq m, Stora Enso – 2,500 sq m, PRO.MED.CS – 2,300 sq m or UPS - 1,000 sq m.

According to Jaroslav Kaizr, Savills Head of Leasing Agency, Savills Czech & Slovak Republics, Štěpán’s new appointment is a strategic hire and Kaizr further comments: “Štěpán has gained unique expertise when working on the most complex deals and now he can use this know how when providing services to both the landlord and the tenants.
